About the Workshop

During this workshop, we will explore the 10 phases of the Heroine's Journey, proposed by Maureen Murdock.

Join us to reflect on the separation from the feminine, the mother-daughter split, the descent to the goddess, the healing of the masculine and the feminine, and the integration of these archetypal forces that are present within us.

The workshop is an introduction to the framework and no previous experience on the subject is necessary to join us.

The Heroine's Journey by Maureen Murdock

The Heroine's Journey framework showcases the contemporary woman's search for wholeness in a society in which she has been defined according to masculine values.

Drawing upon cultural myths and fairy tales, ancient symbols and goddesses, and the dreams of contemporary women, Murdock illustrates the need for—and the reality of—feminine values in Western culture today.

Story of Brave

We will examine the Heroine's Journey by drawing parallels between the Disney animation Brave and our daily lives.

This is an opportunity to view a piece of contemporary culture with new eyes and a new perspective.

Participants who join this workshop will also learn how to interpret stories, focusing on the journey of the soul.
