The Heroine's Journey
A course towards wholeness drawing upon cultural myths and fairy tales, ancient symbols, and goddesses.

THE HEROINE'S JOURNEY PROGRAM
Date: Starts on March 2nd, 2023
10 sessions on Thursday evenings
Time: From 6 pm to 7:30 pm, PST
Where: Online, via Zoom
For 1,5 hours every week, we will explore, deepen and immerse ourselves in the healing framework of The Heroine's Journey by Maureen Murdock.
INTRODUCTION
When reflecting on the archetypal force of the feminine, nowadays, we feel it has been buried. Not only in woman's individual life but the feminine force in our contemporary world.
We witness women turning away from their feminine nature, their intuition, their dreams, and their essence, and consequently, losing enormous power.
This separation needs to be healed.

Healing & Integration
The Heroine's Journey framework showcases the contemporary woman's search for wholeness in a society in which she has been defined according to masculine values.

PROGRAM STRUCTURE
The Heroine's Journey Program will examine and reflect on the healing journey conceived by author Maureen Murdock. The framework is a 10-step cyclic journey towards integration of the archetypal feminine and masculine forces within us.
In each session, we will delve into one or more stages of the journey, drawing upon cultural myths and fairy tales, ancient symbols and goddesses, and the dreams of contemporary women.
Structured as a deep opportunity for reflection, insights, conversation, and healing, this program brings you material for self-awareness, growth, and empowerment.
During the course, the facilitator Maria Souza will present in detail the main ideas contained in each stage and walk participants together through this healing cycle. Participants will be invited to share, discuss and reflect through exercises, activities, questions, and open inquiries.
No previous experience on the subject is necessary to join us.
“There is a void felt these days by women and men—who suspect that their feminine nature, like Persephone, has gone to hell. Wherever there is such a void, such a gap or wound agape, healing must be sought in the blood of the wound itself. It is another of the old alchemical truths that no solution should be made except in its own blood. So the female void cannot be cured by conjunction with the male, but rather by an internal conjunction, by an integration of its own parts, by a remembering or a putting back together of the mother-daughter body.”
Nor Hall, The Moon and the Virgin
